Meanwhile of course we found time for other activities.
Lorna did a brilliant job with the rocks she found in our garden. This is the brillian faux entrance she made for our 'stream'.
Including a pond which would catch the water and allow it to soak back into the ground (and maybe be a home for frogs). That's Lorna, who helped design it.
April rains flooded a lot of the UK, including our garden, so with the help of a wonderful young woman we started to build a drainage system which would also be a landscape feature.
And then had the garden to tackle. First, a new greenhouse.
We managed to get the house tidy for the important people
And then it snowed
